HEJ Alumni Association
HEJ Alumni are defined as the post graduates and doctorates of the institution who joined the institute for M.Phil, Ph.D. program or any of the collaborative student either local or foreigner who had attended any of the short courses conducted by the institute.
The alumni Association operates as a benevolent and philanthropic institution and does not operate for profit or pecuniary gain.
Aims and objectives
The aims and objectives of HEJ Alumni Association are as follows:
To encourage Alumni to maintain links with the ICCBS institution.
To promote more effectively the welfare and interests of the University and its Alumni.
To support the University’s aims and objectives and uphold its reputation as ambassadors of the University.
To establish mutually beneficial relationship between the University and its Alumni and to bind the Alumni more closely together.
To assist in developing financial and other resources for the University services through advice, consultancy, assistance with recruitment of students and faculty or any other means.
To develop linkages for mutual benefit (such as research) with other professional Alumni bodies.
Alumni Association Membership benefits
The alumni Affairs office processes membership to HEJ Alumni Association and helps provide the following services:
Facilitating transcript issuance/verification for alumni based in Pakistan or abroad.
Providing Library to alumni who wish to use this facility at ICCBS.
Processing invitations for special alumni seating at ICCBS seminars, symposium and workshops.
Facility to have 10-15% discount in any of the course conducted by HEJ.
It is hoped that with time, the association and involvement of the alumni with each other and their Alma Mater will grow and the Association shall play an ever-greater role in the support and academic affairs of the ICCBS institute. The alumni will continue to be excellent ambassadors of ICCBS.

Latif Ebrahim Jamal National Science Information Center at the Husein Ebrahim Jamal Research Institute of Chemistry (International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, University of Karachi) is a brand new institution in the ICCS system.
