Sindhi name: PueeDescription of Cymbopogon citrates:
To the best of our knowledge so far as no phytochemical studies are reported on this plant.
Also known as citronella grass, lemon grass is a sweet scented perennial grass of tropical regions widely used in Asian cooking. The narrow, ribbon-like, leafy stalks grow in clumps that reach 1 m (3 ft) or more in height. The leaves swell slightly at the base to form a fleshy stolon or underground stem. The stem is white and is also edible. The edges of mature leaves are rough and can be quite sharp – it’s easy to get cut fingers when harvesting them.
