DRUG MOLECULAR BANK
The first National Drug Molecular Bank was established in Jan. 2015 at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD). The bank is a national collection of hundreds of molecular entities, used as drugs in human diseases. Currently bank houses around 465 entries of (FDA-approved) small molecules, and biotech drugs. The contents of the drug bank are intended for the scientific and research purposes only. Each drug entry contains extensive information about the drug with their chemical structural data, pharmacological functions, adverse effects, etc. Drug molecular bank database is particularly useful for the medicinal chemists, pharmacists, physicians, and pharmaceutical researchers.
