A four-month German language course, titled “Basic German Language Course A1 and A2 Level – 2026,” will commence on October 26, 2026, at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi (UoK).

An ICCBS spokesman said on Monday that the course would run until mid-February 2027, with classes held every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The course fee is Rs. 6,000 for A1 level and Rs. 7,000 for A2 level. Applicants must have at least an intermediate qualification or equivalent. The last date for applications is October 19, 2026.

The spokesman said applicants could download the fee deposit challan and complete the online registration process by uploading the required documents. The fee is non-refundable. German language experts will conduct the course, which participants can attend either online or in person. The programme will be coordinated through the Latif Ebrahim Jamal National Science Information Center, located at ICCBS. It aims to help undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students develop a foundational understanding of the German language.

Successful participants will receive a certificate of completion upon completing the course.
